Board Proceedings

November 16, 2006

 

President Chapman called the Holmen Village Board meeting to order at 6:30 PM on November 16, 2006 at the Holmen Village Hall.  All members were present, except Seitz who was absent.

 

Public Hearing – President Chapman call the public hearing on the 2007 Village of Holmen Budget to order at 6:30 PM. No one present spoke in favor or against the proposed budget. President Chapman closed the public hearing at 6:42 PM.

 

Motion by Proctor, seconded by Anderson to approve the 2007 General Fund budget in the amount of $3,392,287, the 2007 Debt Service budget in the amount of $329,100, the 2007 Water Utility budget in the amount of $619,400 and the 2007 Sewer Utility budget in the amount of $691,700. Carried unanimously.

 

Motion by Anderson, seconded by Forde to approve the 2006 tax levy in the amount of $1,473,143 and the 2006 mill rate of 4.5983 after the State applied computer aid. Carried unanimously.

 

Motion by Forde, seconded by Anderson to approve the 2007 sewer rates of $12.51/REC/Quarter and $3.40 per thousand gallons of sewage. Carried unanimously.

 

Motion by Allers, seconded by Proctor to approve the 2007 Impact Fee budget in the amount of $182,875. Carried unanimously.

 

Motion by Allers, seconded by Anderson to adjourn at 6:46 PM.  Carried unanimously.
