Special Board Meeting

October 28, 2002

 

President Chapman called the special meeting of the Holmen Village Board to order at 6:30 PM on October 28, 2002 at the Holmen Village Hall.  All members were present.

 

The Board reviewed the proposed General Fund, Debt Service, Water Utility and Sewer Utility 2003 budgets.  The proposed budgets include expenditures of $2,879,300, $402,900, $402,900 and $548,300 for the General, Debt Service, Water and Sewer funds respectively.  Alberts presented the significant changes and additions to the 2003 budgets.  He also presented the estimated mill rate and proposed sewer rates for 2003.

 

Motion by Anderson, seconded by Proctor to approve the 2003 budgets for publication and to apply $15,000 of General Fund surplus to offset the proposed mill rate.  Carried Unanimously.  The Board set the public hearing for the 2003 budgets at 6:30 PM on November 21, 2002.

 

Motion by Forde, seconded by Hauser to adjourn at 7:05 PM.  Carried Unanimously.
