Board Proceedings

September 26, 2002

 

President Chapman called the special Holmen Village Board meeting to order at 5:30 PM on September 26, 2002 at the Holmen Village Hall.  All members were present except Seitz. 

 

The Village Board heard a presentation for the 2004 Sand Lake Road project by Mid-States Associates.  Mike Staatz of MSA informed the Board of the general project description, time frame, installation of Village utilities, storm sewer design and various miscellaneous items.  He also informed the Board that the project is expected to be let in the fall of 2003 with construction starting Spring of 2004.  The estimated cost of the project is $800,000 with a Federal funding cap of $584,641, leaving the balance to be paid jointly by the Village and County. 

 

Staatz also informed the Board of the public informational meeting to be held at 6:30 PM.  MSA plans on giving a brief presentation to property owners affected by the project and to answer questions related to specific parcels.

 

Motion by Proctor, seconded by Hauser to adjourn at 6:00 PM.  Carried Unanimously.
