Special Board Meeting

November 20, 2003

 

President Chapman called the Holmen Village Board meeting to order at 6:30 PM on November 20, 2003 at the Holmen Village Hall.  All members were present.

 

President Chapman called the public hearing on the 2004 General Fund, Debt Service Fund, Water Utility and Sewer Utility budgets to order at 6:30 PM.  No persons spoke in favor or against the proposed budgets.  President Chapman closed testimony on the public hearing at 6:40 PM.  Motion by Forde, seconded by Anderson to approve the 2004 General Fund budget in the amount of $3,939,270, the 2004 Debt Service budget in the amount of $384,600, the 2004 Water Utility budget in the amount of $478,580 and the 2004 Sewer Utility budget in the amount of $553,000.  Carried Unanimously.

 

Motion by Hauser, seconded by Olson to approve the 2003 tax levy in the amount of $1,263,696 and the 2003 mill rate of 4.8042 after the State applied computer aid.  Carried Unanimously.

 

Motion by Olson, seconded by Anderson to approve the 2004 sewer rates of $14.96/REC/Quarter and $2.94 per thousand gallons of sewage.  Carried Unanimously.

 

Motion by Anderson, seconded by Olson to adjourn at 6:45 PM.  Carried Unanimously.
