Board Proceedings
December 22, 2009
President Proctor called the Special Holmen Village Board meeting to order at 7:00 PM on December 22, 2009 at the Holmen Village Hall. All Board members were present. Also present was Jim Geissner from People’s First Firm.
Motion by Seitz, seconded by Olson at 7:01 to go into closed session per WI Statutes 19.95(1) (c) discuss personnel issues(s). Carried unanimously. Discussion items only in closed session.

Motion by Seitz, seconded by Olson to approve contract as presented with Administrator/Clerk Mary Willett. Board discussed with Mr. Geissner some ideas for Administrator/Clerk Willett’s introduction to the Holmen Staff and Community. It was suggested the Board Members come up with ideas for a list of things to accomplish and submit them to Trustee Seitz to be discussed at the January 13th Finance and Personnel Committee meeting. Carried unanimously, with Trustee Schmid and Szak delivering proxy votes in their absence.
Hornberg gave a reminder to the Finance and Personnel that the Committee agreed to change the date of the January finance committee to January 13, 2009 rather than January 12, 2009 due to a conflict in scheduling.
Trustee Seitz extended a special thanks to Treasurer/Deputy Clerk Hornberg, Public Works Director Haines and President Proctor for their hard work during the absence of an Administrator/Clerk.
Motion by Szak, seconded by Olson to adjourn at 7:44 PM. Carried unanimously.
