2011 YOUTH REC SOCCER (Grades 1-4)
YOUTH REC SOCCER:
(Grades 1-4) “Park & Rec Soccer League”
The area Park and Recreation Departments offer
a spring recreational soccer league (PRSL) for Grades 1-4 that will play league
games on Saturdays and have games or practice on Thursdays. League games begin
April 16th. The program format will involve some traveling (transportation is
not provided) to Onalaska & West Salem. Practices will be held at Holmen
Middle School (see schedule below). Boys will play in a boy's league and
girls will play in a girl's league.
PRSL Divisions:
Boys grades 1, 2, 3, 4 Girls grades 1, 2, 3, 4 (Sign
up for individual grade)
MUST REGISTER BY: TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2nd
- This is a
mandatory league deadline!
Dates:
March 24th - May 28th, Games begin April 16th
Pre-Season & Practice Schedule:
March 24 – April 9 (All practices to be held outside, dress for the weather!)
• 1st Grade Boys: Thursdays 5:30pm - 6:30pm AND Saturdays 10:00 - 11:00am

Practices will begin March 24th.
Practices will be held at Holmen
Middle. Once games begin (April 16th), weekday practice schedules will remain
the same as listed above on Thursdays and game schedule will vary (time & site)
on Saturdays from week to week. (TO BE ANNOUNCED.) Please call the Park & Rec
Cancellation Hotline at 526-6312 to make sure there haven’t been any changes.
Fee:
Resident - $30 Non-Resident - $60
Volunteer Head coaches’ child can play
for free! Coaches needed for all teams.
Mandatory Coaches Meeting is on Tuesday, March
9th at 6:00pm at the Holmen Village Hall.
Soccer registration for grades 1-4 will be accepted at the Village Hall or left in the drop box until *February
1st.

Volunteer Coaches are needed for all soccer teams.

The Mandatory Coaches Meeting is on
Monday, March 7th at 6:00pm
at the Holmen Village Hall (421 S. Main St.).
