2012 YOUTH REC SOCCER (Grades 1-4)

The area Park and Recreation Departments offer a spring recreational soccer league (PRSL) for Grades 1-4 that will play league games on Saturdays and have games or practice on Tuesday or Thursdays. The program format will involve some traveling (transportation is not provided) to Onalaska, Bangor, La Crescent & West Salem. Practices will be held at Holmen Middle School (see schedule below). Boys will play in a boy's league and girls will play in a girl's league. Program will not meet on Saturday April 7^th.

PRSL Divisions: Boys grades 1, 2, 3, 4 Girls grades 1, 2, 3, 4 (Sign up for an individual grade)

MUST REGISTER BY: WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 1st - This is a mandatory league deadline!

Dates: March 24th - May 26th, Games begin April 16^th (1^st/2^nd Grade) or April 18^th (3^rd/4^th Grade)

Pre-Season & Practice Schedule: March 24 – April 14 (All practices to be held outside, dress for the weather!)

• 1^st Grade Boys & Girls: Tuesdays 5:30pm - 6:30pm AND Saturdays 10:00am - 11:00am Holmen Middle

• 2^nd Grade Boys & Girls: Tuesdays 6:30pm - 7:30pm AND Saturdays 10:00am - 11:00am Holmen Middle

• 3^rd Grade Boys & Girls: Thursdays 5:30pm- 6:30pm AND Saturdays 11:00am - 12:00n Holmen Middle

• 4^th Grade Boys & Girls: Thursdays 6:30pm- 7:30pm AND Saturdays 11:00am- 12:00n Holmen Middle

Practices will begin March 24th. Practices will be held at Holmen Middle. Once games begin, 1^st/2^nd grade will player games on Tuesdays and 3^rd/4^th Grade will play games on Thursdays. Game schedule will vary (time & site) on Saturdays from week to week. (TO BE ANNOUNCED.) Please call the Park & Rec Cancellation Hotline at 526-6312 to make sure there haven’t been any changes.

Fee: Resident - $30 Non-Resident - $60

Volunteer Head coaches’ child can play for free! Coaches needed for all teams.

Mandatory Coaches Meeting is on Monday, March 12th at 6:00pm at the Holmen Village Hall.

**Soccer registration for grades 1-4 will be accepted at the Village Hall or left in the drop box until *February 1st.**
