KINDERGARTEN SOCCER (AGES 4, 5 & 6) “Viking Soccer Academy” The Viking Soccer Academy has become the premier introduction to soccer in the Coulee Region. Coach Andy Olson’s Academy program provides an opportunity for Boys & Girls ages 4, 5 & 6 who have not yet reached the 1st grade to learn the game of soccer. The program will begin on April 16th and run through June 6th.
Players will meet on Monday evenings (5pm or 6pm as determined by schedule) and Saturday Mornings (8am-9:30am). All sessions will take place at the fields behind Viking Elementary School. The format will include camp style skill development and small sided (4 on 4) in house style league games. Small sided games allow players to have the most contact with the ball and best opportunity to develop their skills.
Viking Soccer Academy Highlights: Great learning & game play experience; fee includes team shirt and size 3 soccer ball that are yours to keep; Convenient local setting (Viking Elementary); Great instruction from exceptional coaches; Significant practice/game play time with 2 weekly sessions.
MUST REGISTER BY: FRIDAY MARCH 18TH FIRST DAY: SATURDAY APRIL 16TH Site: FIELDS BEHIND VIKING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
FEE: Resident - $25 Non-Resident - $50 (Fee for Soccer Academy includes TEAM SHIRT & BALL to keep.)
** ALL PLAYERS must furnish their own shin guards & soccer socks. Plastic molded cleats are recommended. These items can be purchased at any area retail store, Rogan’s Shoes, Coaches Corner Sports, or MC Sports.
