Holmen Hurricane Swim Team

The "Holmen Hurricane Swim Team" practices Monday through Friday during June and July. Participants will have the opportunity to compete in numerous local swim meets. 2010 Meet schedule (2011 schedule will not be known until later in May).

Participants provide their own swimsuit, black is our team suit color (optional). Parents are encouraged to attend an informational meeting on June 6, 2011 at the first practice.

  • To be eligible for the swim team, participants must be able to swim one length of the pool (25 yards). 

  • Open to ages 18 & under.

SWIM TEAM PRACTICE

Monday-Friday, June 6, 2011-Late July (TBA, determined by last scheduled meet)

  • Participants do not have to be at practice every weekday (due to other summer activities). 
  • Participants should be at practice at least 2 times the week prior to participating in a swim meet.

Advanced - 12 & Older      10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Beginners - 11 & Under    11:00 AM - 11:45 AM  

Site: Holmen Aquatic Center

  • Resident: $40.00
  • Non-Resident: $70.00

1ST PRACTICE & PARENTS MEETING

Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Holmen Aquatic Center

Advanced -12 & Older      10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Beginners -11 & Under    11:00 PM - 11:45 AM

Will discuss schedules, fundraisers, suits, goggles, caps, t-shirts, meets, and any other questions you may have.

SWIM MEETS

  • Meets are optional
  • Usually 6-10 meets will be scheduled, with 2 home meets.
