Boys & Girls Ages 7-14
TRAVELING SOCCER: (AGES 7-14) “WYSA Southwest District Soccer League” The Park and Recreation Department will offer a great opportunity for boys and girls ages 7-14. Players in the traveling soccer program will be placed on teams that play in the former Coulee Region Soccer League. League games will be played on Saturdays AND Sundays and will involve travel to outside communities. (NO transportation will be provided) Boys will play in a boy's league and girls will play in a girl's league. Parent Volunteer Coaches are needed for all teams. Tentative season practice details listed below. PLAYERS MUST REGISTER BY: TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 1st - This is a mandatory league deadline! Players will be placed on teams according to age not grade (similar to baseball/softball) What Age Group is Your Child for the 2011 spring soccer season?
Divisions & Schedule for 1st day of practice: (All practices held outside, please dress for the weather!) o Players will meet as a large group this day and be broken out into teams; age groups may be combined to make teams. Players will receive team assignment & schedule on this day. Practice schedule will be set by your coach and will vary by team. Typically 1-2 practices per week and games on Saturdays AND Sundays. Season Dates: Start date listed above – June 5th (Games begin April 9th) League Dates: Not Yet Available from Southwest District League (April/May) Tournaments: Tomah (typically 1st weekend in May) Fee: $65.00* per player * Fees are based on league & tournament costs per player * Tournaments are included as part of League Schedule Volunteer Head coaches’ child can play for free! Coaches needed for all teams. Mandatory Coaches Meeting is on Monday, March 7th at 7:30pm at the Holmen Village Hall
* Soccer program registration for Ages 7-14 will be accepted at the Village Hall or left in the drop box until February 1st.

Volunteer Coaches are needed for all soccer teams. Head Coaches children play for free! Please call 526-2152 or sign up on the registration form if interested. The Mandatory Coaches Meeting is on Monday, March 7th at 7:30pmat the Holmen Village Hall (421 S. Main St.).
