Learn to Run (8 yr-Adult)
This will be a great place for all ages to start running. We will start with a dynamic warm up. Next, we will use a run/walk formula to get us ready to run up to 2 miles without stopping by the end. We will teach proper form, breathing techniques, and how to keep the right pace for you. We will work on some smaller hills and do some sprints to build our endurance. We will focus on how to properly stretch and cool down. This program will be for all levels and no runner will be left behind or alone. Let’s make running fun and get outdoors and in shape!
Please bring water and tennis/running shoes.
Dates: April 18, 2023 – May 18, 2023 (No meeting on May 11)
Site: Meet at Halfway Creek Park Bandshell (208 Pool St.) We will be using the Halfway Creek Park Trail.
